Some reviews hint at occasional wait times during peak hours, especially during the lunch rush. There are also mentions of the venue being a bit smaller than expected, which might feel crowded when full. A couple of customers experienced minor hiccups with their orders, but these seem to be rare occurrences in light of generally positive feedback. Overall, the minor issues do not seem to deter the love for this chippy.
Just stopped here on a whim, lovely piece of fish, chips were perfect. Not likely I'll be back to the area any time soon, but if I do, I'll definitely come back here. Cheers!

I drive past here regularly, actually stopped and called in for the first time today. Very nice guy behind the counter, very helpful. Food was very good, just a good old fashioned chippy, I live miles away but will definitely go back. I would recommend this place without hesitation.
Best fish and chips in the area, their muchy peas and curry sauce was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. Meal for 2 cost us less than £15, will be visiting again.
Driven past here for years on the way back to my bosses house nearby and have allways fancied trying it last week I got the chance to try it after a early dart from a job down in Birmingham........... It was absolutely Amazing and reasonably priced. Fish was perfectly battered and the fish itself was flakey and moist, the chips also were delicious. Top effort, I love my fish n chips and this place is now in my quality chippy to visit list!!
Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. Just wish they opened on a Saturday evening. If I lived closer, I would buy them more often.
